The Board Chairman of the Sierra Leone Road Safety Authority [SLRSA] Mr. Sheikh Mustapha Bawoh on Thursday June 23, 2022 embarked on a conducted tour of newly constructed and equipped state-of-the-art technology facilities of Autospect Sierra Leone at the Authority’s Headquarters, Kissy Road, Freetown.
The objective of the conducted tour was to assess the progress made so far and determine the state of preparedness for the commencement of operations by Autospect Sierra Leone.
Other members of the team included the Executive Director of SLRSA Rev. Smart Kelson Senesie, Deputy Executive Director of SLRSA Mr. James Baggie Bio and other staff members of the Authority.
Briefing the SLRSA entourage, the managing Director of Autospect Sierra Leone, Mr. Muhieddie Itani said the facilities would be fitted with state-of-the-art technology equipment that would provide quality service in line with International standards. He added that, the facility has a customer care hall, License department, Vehicle Registration Plate factory, 5th Generation server room among others.
The Chairman Board of Directors said, he was impressed with the quality of work done so far by the company, He encouraged the company to expedite the work, so that they could commence quality service delivery in order to address key challenges facing the Road Transport Sector.
The Executive Director expressed the hope that, the facilities would soon be completed for Autospect to commence full operations.
Deputy Executive Director, Mr. James Baggie Bio said on completion of the facilities, the Authority will have a conducive atmosphere for customers and enhanced service delivery.
