The Deputy Executive Director of the Sierra Leone Road Safety Authority Mr. James Baggie Bio and the Director of Traffic Safety and Engineering, SLRSA, Mr. Michael Jaigah, are in the Togolese capital, Lome, to attend a two days( 24-25 )Regional Road Transport Integration Workshop on the Theme: Regional Validation to enhance the implementation of the ECOWAS AXLE LOAD control supplementary Act.

The workshop’s objective was to contribute to the improved sustainability and security of the Regional Road Transport System with inclusive development in Gender Equality, stability, and Regional Integration. Before his departure, Mr. Bio emphasized the importance of the workshop in enhancing the free flow of goods and services within West Africa and promised to share his experience with Transport stakeholders on his return to Sierra Leone Participants for the two days workshop were drawn from all the 15 ECOWAS Countries.
