H.E. Says This Is A Quantum Leap Towards Safety and Security In Sierra Leone. Sierra Leone Road Safety Authority Headquarters, Kissy Road, Freetown, – Wednesday 20th October 2021 – His Excellency President Dr. Julius Maada Bio, and the Vice President Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh on Wednesday, 20th October 2021, became the first recipients of the country’s Biometric Motor Driver’s License at the Office of the President, State House, Tower Hill in Freetown.
The Executive Director of Sierra Leone Road Safety Authority Mr. Ibrahim Sannoh thanked His Excellency, President Julius Maada Bio for the honor bestowed on him to man the Affairs of the SLRSA. Mr. Sannoh informed the President that the initiative to introduce a safe and secure Driver’s License that will capture key biometric details of the holder started nine months ago and today he was proud to see this groundbreaking and novelty innovation been materialized after nine months of Hard work and dedication. His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio in his statement, thanked and commended the Executive Director and Team for such a job well done stressing that there is lot more to be done. “This is a quantum leap towards safety and security in Sierra Leone. With this, We will be able to capture all the necessary bio-data of every License holder in our country.” H. E Bio said.
